5856: Quality Assurance Manager/Lead Quality Engineer
Our client, an established high growth start-up in the fitness industry, is looking for a Quality Assurance Manger/Lead Quality Engineer to join their San Francisco office’s E-commerce team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with producers and web development to ensure that features are designed to be testable
- Work with release management and business owners to ensure that code pushes are well understood and of high quality
- Build automated integration, stress, performance, and long-haul tests for a multiple environments and platforms.
- Help build out robust regression-prevention systems
- Provide guidance on best practices for web developers writing white-box tests
- Create and monitor metrics to track and measure product quality
- Drive automated and performance testing across client’s platform.
- Compose, execute and review software test plans and test cases.
- Analyze and document test standards and procedures.
- Collaborate with producers, developers, and IT to ensure correctness of changes before releasing and deploy tested changes to production servers regularly.
- Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
- Assess test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action.
- Creation of traceability and requirements coverage matrices to ensure the quality of the features under test.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS preferably with a Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent experience & training.
- 5+ years of quality assurance experience testing applications.
- Strong communication and problem solving skills.
- Experience in designing and running stress, load, scalability and performance tests on web applications and backend systems.
- Experience with QA processes and tools, test management systems, QA automation, testing cross browser in JavaScript, analyzing bug trends, SQL and related topics.
- Experience setting up and managing an automated web-testing framework.
- Experience testing complex web applications, mobile applications and localized web sites.
- Quick learner, ability to adopt new technologies and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong marketing sense and understanding of strategy and best practices for digital marketing.
- Organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and manage several projects at a time consistently.
- Solid interpersonal skills. Must be a team player with ability to work with internal and external parties alike.
