F8-097: Software Tester: Retek

Magley & Associates, one of the Bay Area’s top providers of IT, Marketing, and HR talent is looking for an experienced Test Engineer with previous Retek experience to assist our client test business critical applications. This is a contract position within a dynamic, fast paced and focused team. Candidate must possess excellent technical, leadership, analytical and communication skills. We seek an energetic and experienced Test Engineer to be responsible for planning, implementing, and reporting on testing aspects. The person hired for this position will develop test plans, implement test practices, standards and processes; and troubleshoot test issues, record results, track and prioritize defects; and participate in release decisions and establish measures of test efficiency, effectiveness and product readiness.

Requirements

At least 5 years in IT with experience in Software Testing.
3-5 years Oracle Retek testing experience
SIM (Inventory Management) experience
RESA (Revenue Accounting Application) and/or 360 Commerce POS experience
Previous experience conducting UAT's, creating use cases, developing and maintaining test specifications, test cases, test scripts and test data
Demonstrated experience troubleshooting test defects, participating in release decisions and establishing measures of test efficiency and product readiness.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
